Thats unfortunate and sorry that it happened to you. Ive dealt with lkq enough on the collision end and mechanical ends to know that you never know what you will get.

And tomj77, i dont harass the guy. I dont post very often anymore but when i do i come into most threads and find slowbalt post knowledge that is incorrect or could potentially be harmful to ones car. Someone whos knew to cars or the platform night take his information and end up with a destroyed engine. His mouth is a joke. Even when someine doesnt speak up he has a a mouth and attitude. No one on this forum likes the guy because he cant admit being wrong or fault, when yoh tell him to stop posting incorrect knowledge he lets the butt hurt flow and talks down to everyone with some of the most foul things. Im not saying ban the guy but to keep him in check.

A long time ago i was banned by a previous mod here due to a logo on my intake manifold of a previous company that i worked for. It was non vendor advertisement i was told. Funny thing is someone posted the picture to show my engine bay and it wasent me nor did i acknowledge it was my car. Someone else did. So something so stupid that gets me banned when i provide correct knowledge here (even to slowbalt in the passed) is beyond me.

 

I agree with these guys. If you don't know what you are talking about you can do more harm than good. People come here from Facebook sights looking for help from knowledgable guys. Not from someone that thinks he knows what he is talking about, yet doesn't. I have learned a lot In the 4 years I have been in here from guys like this^. Don't understand why others haven't.....

 

I banned him for a week (last week) in hopes he would cool off, and learn. Guess I was wrong.

As mods we cant just perma-ban someone cuz people don't like that person.

If he keeps acting up and posting nonsense, further action will be taken.

 

I cleaned up some of the nonsense posts. Stay on topic guys.

Well I don't know about other threads but in this one all I saw was the guy asking lagitimit questions and then someone decided to start something and he defended himself. I don't judge people by what they do in other posts , I judge by what happens in the current ones that I am looking at. As for op, attacking back won't help ur case in the future, just report and don't start cussing at people, doesn't help. Although I understand and I'm sure the other mods do as well. The rest of you, if u don't wanna answer his questions and just judge him on past posts, don't start.
