LNF Rebuild

Just decided to make this to document my motor rebuild. Today was the first day got a lot of work done in 4 hours, the amount of oil that poured out of the intercooler and exhaust was insane. Hopefully tomorrow we are able to get it out and taken apart to take to the machine shop to see the real damage. I am shocked that I old not find any info on how to take this thing apart only the lsj .

Oh well I will keep you guys updated as I go along

Don't know have to check the play in the turbo to see if that's blown as well but as of right now based on the compression test cylinder 4 is dead, should have the motor apart today hopefully *fingers crossed*

didn't have enough time to do anything after getting the motor out and putting the axles and wheels back on to roll the car out of the shop, was able to get the valve cover off and everything looked good so far, my friends are like its probably just the blown turbo but since you took the motor out you are building it anyway

finally out!!!!

this is ruined

one of many trails of oil

Big turbo....NOT!!!!!!!!
