does your car have the correct vin. Did the car start after the gm flash if it didnt its within there system, If it stopped running after the hptuners read or write then either the wrong year flash was put onto car , or the read or write didnt fully write, redo the write and do a write entire.

I do want to add to this thread that Vince at Trifecta was extremely helpful in walking me through what to do to unlock my pcm and get everything reflashed. He replied instantly to my emails and couldn't have been more courteous. Thanks!
Nice work man! I'm glad vince helped you out and youre getting this sorted out.
Hes not just a guy off the street tuning people for money on the side. Its his livelihood. He has a plan. If something were to happen to vince today his customers would not be left out in the cold like youre implying. Just so you know.
He has a mobile setup that he takes with him. "Vacation" usuallly only means limited hours.
I don't think anyone would want your "friends that tune and ive taught them" to touch their car if you were a legitimate business.

lol most tuners out there are taught by other tuners. hahah to me vince isnt a tuner hes a software guru......... btw i have had many chances to work for some large tuning shops i just dont care for the buissness part. (only caring about money)...
well there was a time when you guys used his software so.............................
Oh I hear you about learning to tune from others. Thats probably the #1 way to learn. How many people here learned from people like Greg Banish, Dan Maslic, or Jeff Hartman? Compound that with reading the HPT forums, seat time while someone else is tuning you, and your entire knowledge base is made up of others experiences, with a little of your own trial and error thrown in so you can call it your own.
What I meant was that if you were Vince, and needed help, you couldnt just ask a buddy to take over. You'd have to hire them, and that is a lot of red tape. Its a lot more complicated when you do it for a living.
Anyway, carry on with your trifecta bashing. I just hope anybody that reads your posts considers the source first.
