When i had a brand new car I pulled + traction... now 15k later I have a 1 wheel pealer. I have intercooler piping::intake::catlass downpipe::full catback:: && trifecta tune. Does anyone know of any tricks to pull postive or where to find a factory lsd... or even a website that sells a cheaper quaife lsd then $945.00. Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Quaife is expensive period. Good luck finding one for cheap. OBX is cheaper, but I havn't heard much about their reliability.

 

Best bet is getting a used transmission with LSD. I found one in my area for 1100.

Try finding a used G85 trans. Much cheaper.

 

would the ss/sc lsd swap into a 2.4L trans or would it be too much work. and sorry OP not sure where to get a decent priced LSD from. but i agree with the rest of the guys that a used trans with the G85 package would probably be the cheapest route

 

I have a brand new quaife lsd sitting in my basement. if you want it, $600. i can't get pics till the weekend since i travel for work though. PM me if you have questions.

that's why I made sure before I traded my non-LSD SS/SC for a LSD-SS/TC at the car dealer to make sure the SS/TC's is equipped with the LSD, so I wouldn't be regretting later and spend $1100 for the part. I checked the price sticker and it listed the LSD for $425, which I wasn't sure why, but at least I know I have it equipped.
