all im going to say is im not jelous of any car. everyone does their own thing and likes their own car for their own reason. im jelous that i dont have a ton of money to do things that way i really want but hey i build my cars the way i build them and i like them just like you like yours. what gets real old is when people cry and wine about pricing and how much money it costs to fix broken stuff, to buy new parts and so forth. if people are so worried about breaking then leave the car alone. you pay to play and thats the moral of the story. i dont like when people buy the most badass parts just to say hey i have it. its retarded if you ask me. buy parts that your going to use even if its a couple times a year. thats like building a 1000hp car and it sits in the garage all day every day and never gets used on the strip or dyno. pointless to me.

i dont have beef with you. all i was saying is that i could of just blown you off if i wasent a "grown man like you thought i was" but i didnt. i helped out got you the prices and afiak you chose to go a different direction which is cool with me. cant satisfy everyone price wise unfortunately plus its not my shop and i dont make prices. so im going to leave it there and thats it. if you want to add anything after this reguarding my post we can talk via pm and thats that. i wont cloud up this thread anymore and i assume you wont either.

op i strongly recommend profressional help. i hate to sound like a dick head but i think its needed here.

i do know its a little lower than it used to be, it used to hold at 60 when driving and 30 at idle now its a bit lower

nothing wrong with 10w30, when it heats up its the same thing. runs just fine, did the same thing with 5w30 anyway.

Pretty sure it doesn't say that.

GM did tests... running 10W-30 highly accelerated wear on cold start ups (Cold start-up doesn't necessarily mean that it's "cold" outside, either).

ah crap it says 5w30 or 0w30 on 5-19 i guess i miss read 0w30 for 10. but it also say in the area with extreme cold where temps fall below -20 use 5w30. which means if its warm u could use something else, now that iv said that i notice thats for the 2.2l, 2.0 says use the 5w30, so i guess i was wrong and was probably reading from the 2.2l section. **** ill change it i guess.

I changed it, chain tightened up but I guess I'll check it in a month or so, oil level is always good.
