I had high meth consumption on my aem kit. The check valve had failed so it was pulling in meth even on vacuum pressure not just on boost. I ended up buying a snow performance solenoid (then hooked up the wires wrong so it was stuck open..dumass) once I fixed that it has been good.

Just disconnect the line and plug the hole. If your issue goes away than you know you have a meth malfunction.

This is why I dont run meth anymore. Too much extra BS to worry about.

On regards to my 3.7 degree knock on cylinder one.
I am going to try and rotate the sensors again just to see if there are any changes.

I was talking to a buddy yesterday that mentioned putting rubber O rings around the knock sensors of his motor.

Wondering if anybody heard of doing such thing before.

Yes, but you could potentially isolate them from a real problem.

The 3.7 degrees happen at throttle input even on neutral.
Turned the knock sensors and the neutral knock gone and knock at load was at 0 or 1-2 range.
However after about 5 miles miles of driving it came right back to 3.7 degrees.

Does it again even on neutral
I torqued it to 19 pounds.

Not taking all that apart again today but it am going to try 21 pounds

Edit
I fixed a boost leak but no change, so let me load the factory tune and see if anything changes. Before I pull all that off again.

Edit
Full ecu write to factory and knock is back at 0. Loaded the latest tune and knock still at 0.
Going for a long drive and hope for the best.

sorry if I missed but are you stock bpv and vacuum lines? mine kept pulling timing cause of bad vacuum canister creating can of worms. If you havent tried the vacuum tank bypass aleady you should try and see if it corrects it.

I dont think the Kappa have that vacuum tank.
I have a forge bpv without the solenoid.

The knock is reduced.
The neutral knock is gone, still have some low rpm know that my be tip in.

However if it sits in traffic it will go back to the 3.7 jazz.
