Hey guys.. I was wondering if anyone knows what are the parameters of compresion on the pistons. because i check the compresion of mines and on the piston (lef to right) 1, 2, 3. I had 170 and on the 4, I had 150, (check twice..) so if anyone know if that is good or bad please comment. Thanks

 

the compression is a little down in cylinder 4. what are your mods?

 

Thats on the low side. How many miles on the engine. The spec, according to alldata is 150 is the min. We just tested a 2006 LSJ with 48k worth of hard miles and it still had 210 at all 4 cyl. It might be time for a Cyl leakdown test.

there is nothing really dangerous about your set-up. do a leakdown test next to see exactly where the compression is coming out of

 

Noticing the car running bad at all. Down on power? how is the VAC at idle, low?

same thing happened to mine but they couldnt see it when i put on my catted downpipe if u take it to the dealer good luck they told me i had too bad injectors and thats what was causing my compression issues lol wtf? they told me the car was done went to pick it up yesterday still lose of power still running like **** i took it straight back and they said they couldnt do anything without having a misfire code so its sitting at the dealer

 

Honestly, it is a little low, but if the car isnt smoking, having misfires codes thrown or power loss then I wouldnt worry about it.

 

It has been feeling strange. I recently tuned and I thought with the tune it would feel a lot better but I still feel it weak somehow. But i don't know how to solve this problem. Should I take it to the dealer or is there a way to solve it without taking it to the dealer?
