Is your car on those springs on the car domain site? if so it doesnt even look lowered at all..... how far is the drop suppose to be?

I like the sportlines its decent handling and looks good drops the car about 1inch in the front and 1inch in the back. Ride quality is not that bad just get the rack spacers from ottp. The sportlines seem like they have a better lower center of gravity. I say sportlines if you want a good look.

1.5 isnt bad. i dont think they will handle as well as the pedders but at least it isnt slammed like the eibachs...**** those are rough.

Pedders are good, we sell many, just like sportlines (not as good as spring rates IMO though)

Pedders and Eibach are both in stock, we are here if you have any questions, let us know.

I had SSC's on my cobalt ss/sc before i switched to HSD coilovers.

SSC's provide a nice drop, lower then pedders about the same as sportlines.

SSC's are VERY close to stock, i didnt notice a difference in ride quility when i thew them on.

But i have never been in cobalt with peders so i cant really compare

Pedders definitely. Won't drop you as much as a lot of springs which is better for the harsh winters you get, and you'll get the best handling. They're a little more expensive, but you can't go wrong with them.

I have the progress springs right now, absolutely love them. The rated drop was correct after settling. Recommend OTTP steering rack spacers, haven't had any bump stop. You might also want to look into the OTTP rotated mounts too, since after installing the rack spacers, there's almost no clearance with the steering rack.

Pedders seem to be the best comprimise. Not as big of a drop as others but doesnt ruin your handling

Well according to OTTP's website the pedders they have available are 1.5 to 1.6" drop which I think is good. It's the exact same drop as Sportline according to Modern Performance's website

So something is a miss here.

So OTTP's advertised drop for them is not correct at 1.5"/1.6" ?

Just because a website advertises you'll get a specific drop doesn't mean their numbers are accurate.

The listed drop for the pedders is if you put them on a base model cobalt not an SS, i measured a 1" drop in front and about a 0.75" drop in rear, good looking drop and car handles amazing.

i leave this here......

you get looks or you get performance......you want one you will most likely compromise the other.

h&r sports and race kit, eibach sportlines and pro kit, ssc, tiens, all the other brands all have coil bind. theres only been one spring out thats been proven and does not have any. pedders.end of story

i had h&rs on my car and the ride quality was extremely poor. ive since switched to stances. ssc spring rates are just slightly worse then stock. they will give you a close to stock ride or a little lesser. pedders will give you improved handling and in my outfits are better then the megan, b&g and k sport coilovers as far as handling and best bang for the buck goes.

the eibach prokit and pedders are the only 2 springs that will improve handling with the pedders still on top. eibachs still coilbind and honestly arent that great of springs to begin with.

so op...heres something to ask yourself. do you want it slammed or do you want it to handle? if you want both get coilovers. if you want a slight drop well hella good handling pick up pedders, if you just was drop h&r all day.

Those are on h&r sports which have been on the car mated with koni yellows. Idc what the people on here say I did not notice worse handeling, if anything it was improved by less body roll. Had them on my last two cars and would definitely buy again. No problems in new England winters either

i understand the comparison....but the big difference here between your setup and the what im talking about is......im talking about lnf fe5 struts not koni yellows or fe3 struts. all these springs minus the pedders were all made for the lsj cars and because you can direct swap them right over it seems no companies have cared enough to redo and retest for the lnf cars....h&r springs on the lnf is a no no. if anything i had more body roll on my car and a lot boucier and a lot harsher of a ride. my buddy that bought my springs hsd an lsj on fe5 lnf struts and has the same complaints. the only company to release springs since the lnf really has been pedders. pedders have a higher spring rate no coil bind and give a little drop. they are the best spring out.

So would the best fix be to buy LSJ Shocks and buy any set of lowering springs and apply them both to my LNF
