no fact is fact. on lnf struts the only things that come close are the pro kit and ssc's
ssc = the closest thing to stock spring rates with a similar drop of sportlines.
pro kit = crap drop(.5" in the rear) slightly better handling.....you still get coilbind
pedders = the best spring out for the lnf. highest rates, best handling with a decent drop. NO COIL BIND.
h&r/sportlines - sexy drop, poor handling, poor ride quality
remember this is on lnf struts not konis or anything.....regardless the lnf struts are better then they typical koni yellows.

oh just to add aswell....stance coilover/hsd(made by the same company) are good....both need a higher rate in the back. kw variet 2's appear to be the best out as far as quality goes but ive yet to see someone with them on the car to give a legit review. bilstien internals ftw on varient 2s.
God. Not this again. More suspension misinformation.
KW used to use Koni internals. Back in about 2003 or so, they had 2 sources for shock internals. Koni, and another lower end source. They've since bought their own German damper company, but they still make twin tube dampers. Not monotube, like Bilstein.
As for Koni vs LNF struts and shocks. I've run both now, and the Konis are hands down better. The car is more composed, and I'm able to rotate the car as easily as before. Like I said, I have the stock dampers ready to ship to someone in the industry to have them dynoed and compared to off the shelf Koni yellows. No more guessing. GM did a good job stock, but there's room for improvement.

Autocross to Win (DGs Autocross Secrets) - Buying Shocks
[FAQ] Shock Dynos - Honda-Tech
If the company you want to buy coilovers from won't provide you with shock dynos, run. Fast. I asked Pedders for a shock dyno of their coilovers, because I was interested in buying them, and they refused, and so I dumped them as a viable option.
BTW - I've checked 2 sets of Pedders now, and they coil bind in the front under heavy load. If you don't believe me, pull one, and look at where the powder coating scraped off.
you can debate all you want.....ive had them on my car. again i understand you have koni yellows...good stuff and with springs im sure it handles better. im saying on Fe5 struts they dont. they are a far softer spring. rides super bouncy and every bump you hit feels like the car bottoms out. im sure wangspeed will agree on this aswell.
something im realizing about the springs...since the lnf cars have come out only 1 new spring has been realeased. pedders. they were tested on these cars where all the other springs were tested on lsj cars. so sure i can see what your saying. they were an upgrade on the lsj fe3 struts. most of the companies figured with interchangable parts why put out a totally new product? but the struts on the lnfs, springs, sway bar, etc etc are different. lnf cars handle way better from the factory if you ask me. like i said on my car they rode horribly. i was scared to even whip it around turns because there was a lot of body roll....my buddy that bought brand new fe5 struts and bought my old springs has the same complaint. the only thing we both like is how they make the car look. to me by far the nicest drop and thats why i have the stances pretty close almost the same but my rears a slightly higher.

I See what your saying. They are similar cars but yet different all together. My car actually decreased body roll. Which there in itself I noticed an improvement
even my stance coilovers could use a stiffer spring in the rear.
