LSJ to LNF clutch mounting differences?
LSJ to LNF clutch mounting differences?
Can someone who has installed a new clutch into their LNF tell me if there is a difference i dont seem to think there should be besides the stock clutch hp/tq ratings. all bolt patterns should be identical. same tranny and release bearing used. so im woundering if the centerforce DFX01010249 clutch will work from crate engine depot
The flywheel was made thinner on the LNF to accomodate a thicker clutch and clutch cover. Not entirely sure if an LSJ clutch will work on an LNF but I don't think so.
Probably be best to drop CED an email and ask them
I also recall the that the LNF may have more bolts holding the flywheel to the crankshaft.
Anybody else??
Nope I just checked and they both use 8 MTG bolts to the flywheel. So thats the same.

In our experiences, if you install an LSJ clutch in an LNF, the clutch will engage a little higher on the pedal. Likewise, if you put an LNF clutch in an LSJ, the pedal will engage low.
