MAF problems
well my mods are in my sig with the new addition to devilsown meth kit. so cris (SCcobaltSS) and i are doing some logs tonight with the meth for terminator, we get one good pull drive around for a little bit try to make another pull and no boost car shows a code P0101 so we go back to cris's house pulled the sensor off clean it and it still does the same thing. i cant think of anything else never had a problem like this until after i installed the methanol kit. the only other thing i could think of was when we tapped into the grey wire on the map sensor for the controller on the meth kit and it ended up being the wrong wire we wanted the lime green wire instead. any input guys?

i did have to tap into my hot side charge pipe used devilsown nozzel mount. steve and i were a little worried about it possibly leaking because the pipes are rounded and the nozzel mount is flat. i bet that is the problem will have to get it welded on i guess

If you saw the logs you would see that something is really not right. Lean under really light loads and pig rich even out of boost. It is giving a rich at idle code as well as that MAF code. That P0101 code shows up when there is a boost leak normally. My logs looked just like his when my Synapse IC cracked. Unless his meth is spraying even at idle (not suposed to do that) it should not be running like that.

I hear ya man, and I know you know what you are looking at. This is just TOO coincidental after adding a mod to the pressurized pipe. I think he maybe onto something with his Meth fitting.

It could be that as well. Short term Fuel trims swing wildly from +30 to -25. Was expecting it to pull fuel under boost due to the meth but not this. His airloads seem lower than they should be as well. I can commanded 270% airload and it will not see over 220% max. It knocks on 0.85 lambda and 12* of peak timing which is again strange considering I tuned another car in Arizona and he is running 0.89 lambda and 14-15* up top with absolutely no knock. My car knocked a lot when I had the cracked IC.

Don't know if this is on topic kinda is cause I don't want my stock cold side piping to break after meth... should I upgrade to a aftermarket coldside piping with the addition of installing meth. I don't want this to happen to me....

most likely a crack on the top of one of the end caps of ic. had that problem a few times. i had a buddy weld in rods to keep the end caps from flexing and cracking the welds. no more problem with that for me.
