maf sensor cel

maf sensor cel

after about 7k miles on my 3" intake a cel came on and i reset my ecu i disconected the battery i cleared the code with an obd reader and i put stock airbox back on and the cel keeps coming up. any ideas on how to get it to clear

did you actually test the MAF sensor to see if its functioning properly? obviously that light keeps coming on for a reason and its not your intake since it happened after 7k miles

check for ground, 5 volt refrence voltage, and youll need a scope for the signal back to the ecm
add or correct iff im wrong

i would recommend just putting it back to stock and taking it into the dealer oscilloscopes arent cheap and you will probably want one to check the signal. i would say at around 90$ for a maf sensor best to take it in for free replacement 8)

08blackss/tc ------ well i dont think this one made the cai no cel club

well actually if you have hpt record the maf signal and check it against a known goood signal.

the car is still under warranty, just take it to the dealer and have them check it out

What is the actual code? It may be its being triggered by something else... Or maybe your filter was over oiled and it got the MAF dirty.

prolly p0101.

im having same issues

I killed 4 mafs

me nor dealer can find issue

switched to stock intake and still wiping out mafs, a problem lies somewhere. if i figure it out ill update on here,.

i have no power with maf performance range/circuit problem.
