Step 1.) Buy MagnaFlow muffler
Step 2.) Go to quality Exhaust Shop
Step 3.) Have Custom 3" Exhaust piping bent
Step 4.) Have system installed
Step 5.) Enjoy

The only problem with the above post is there's only a small handful of shops that have access to a mandrel bender as even used, they cost well over $190K and press bent would kinda defeat the point huh? If it were me, I'd get the muffler and pipe kit from mandrelexhaustsystems.com. Cheapest route you can get to have the awesome Magnaflow sound.

aluminized steel? What the hell does that even mean? They seem like a great deal, but I'm not familiar with metals and their qualities.

aluminized steel is almost like stainless it has a coating on it so it's not supposed to rust. But it still does

rather pay 600 for an exhaust out of a box? of 350 tops for an exhaust you choose. can tell them to rebend the exhaust if it is not what u like, and work just as good, if not better?

Well it's your money. You wanna spend your hard earned cash on press bent garbage, by all means, do not let any of us stop you. Certainly not me who has 4 years of exhaust fab work under my belt. Whoever told you that is smoking crack and is just trying to make a sale. G/L with your exhaust endeavors tho!!

There have been tons of discussions about exhaust flow, back pressure, & exhaust turbulence.

Here is one that touches on it briefly:

???? kay i knew all of that, but for a turbo'ed car there is no backpressure needed at all. I thought everyone was clear on that?

back pressure is the enemy, unless you drive a mazdaspeed 3 or 6, then you would need it to keep the turboseals intact.
