Just updated my tune and am very pleased. No codes... sent logs to Vince for review.

I did notice in 3rd it seems to have a soft spot, very slight around 4k and then goes away. Worried that it could be clutch slipping but dont smell burnt clutch. Could be tires spin too I guess but does not seem like the tire spin. I would think that the clutch would be more likely to slip in 3rd too. second pulls super hard even with tires spinning a little.

Running BFG DR so after second gets em hot I would not think its slight tire spin but could be.

Thoughts... I know its hard to say without being there so its more of a crystal ball question...lol

People have been saying although E is cheaper per gal, you use more of it

Personally I would use a E tune for race night. I could have swore I read somewhere E85 is equivelent to 110 octane?

and I bet u drive it harder and even if u dont your car is makeing more power with the same kind of driver...that would mean more gas.

its like 20%less in cost and 20%less is mpg or at least thats what the subies and evos say around hear. + this gas was grown in the US

Log your injector % duty cycle and Inj ms. If it's getting close to running out of fuel you will see a hump in the Inj %DC where you feel the lag. I noticed this also on full cornsauce.

Nick counteracted it by bringing in boost slower I think, hopefully he'll post up results soon.

Iam Broke... Did you resolve your issue by running a blend or bringing the boost in slower... one of my friends cars does not do that with full e but he is stock... the only Difference between his car and mine is full tb exhaust and IC....

thx for the feed back guys...inj duty makes sense, ill see what Vince has to say too after he looks at the logs...

I get the best results on 60% E here. Could not do full E85 reliably fully bolted.

Cutting the boost is giving up power & lengthened my logged times.

Did you pop any codes? or just have inj duty cycle issues?

How much timing did you have to remove to run the 60\40 blend?

Tom, you're on a 24psi tune currently right, and saying you get close to that code at 60% in colder weather?

You may be getting slightly into injection window issues. Most of the logs I've seen show a "flaring" of the injector pulsewidth around that range which suggests the HPFP might be having a hard time keeping up. It tends to go away once the revs get up around 5000 or so. I'll look at the log and follow up with you via email about it.

Yeah, it's sure interesting - some cars have more trouble than others. I chalk it up to variences in car to car manufacturing.

No, I ran 60% E all winter even in -10*f, no issues. 24 psi & plenty of fuel at 60% E.

Only had issues on full E85 after the third fill when it was truly 85% E in the tank.
