Ended up not going le5 throttle body. The IM and TB have been shipped from BYT's place so I should get them soon and it will be back together.

Every time I hit around 120 I pop the p0087. Waiting to hear back from drew and Vince.

22/23psi tune on a 50/50 mix is pretty good for avoiding this code p0087 or whatever with this layered update?

 

Yes, even my No Go Show Boat is good up to about 75% squeezins with the updated layer.

Haven't ran into issues going over 120. Mods in sig, could it be that the more bolt ons the more likely you will pop P0087?

 

Hey Miller, I have the gm stage wtf badge shoot me a pm with address and I will send it to you. You have helped me with advice on things and everything. The 24 designs guy is pretty cool he has a pretty quick EVO now but used to have a SS/SC. My car is all debadged now except bowtie on the front. Well cool we get a cpl more 08's on E and see if there is anything to 08's popping the P0087 cel.

 

^^^ Need GM Bill to tell us if anything was upgraded for'09 in the fuel system. My rail & injectors are from an '07 Solstice LNF new surplus. HPFP & LPFP originals.

 

It's really hard to say. I've seen some LNFs on stock turbos and gasoline hit the P0087! But that seems to be limited to roadsters. I can't ever recall coming across that on an FWD LNF.

We're starting to see results from more people - it seems to be hit or miss (on 100% E anyway) but I suppose all you can do is try it and see what happens. Lol

 

Ok. My tuner will be ordering the overlay from you very shortly, his name is Kevin, in Ontario. We will try a 22psi tune and if that works, up it to 23psi. I currently have the trifecta select-a-tune with your wastegate controls and raised fuel pressure. We will do a 1:1 mix.

 

Well I just went out and logged a couple of hours of spirited driving and refueled again and the car is running perfect. Smooth and extremely fast. I did not run up over 110, so maybe tomorrow with weather permitting I will go to Mexico and run it up thru 5th gear.

I wish there were more E-85 stations available.

I just took mine out and logged it. It was 30 degrees so I warmed it up good. All I can say is WOW !!! I broke the tires loose anytime I got on it. Ton of Torque. Cant wait for the weather to warm up.
