Messed up old zzp intercooler

I hit my low hanging zzp intercooler on the ground and I'm pretty sure its leaking. That's the only thing I can think of thats messing up my car. I was just curious if anyone else has broken one of these intercoolers.

Also, will zzp give me a discount on the new one? I am a little upset that its messed up, nothing else on the car hit and the intercooler got effed.

What did you actually hit then? That's kind of weird that's the only thing that hit.

Actually, there was post from Matt stating that they believed so much in the structural integrity of the IC that they would warranty anyone that broke it by bottoming it out, but that was before they actually came out with the clearance-IC. Good luck getting them to actually supply it, though, because it was your fault. I think you know that, though, OP.

Blazin07ss, go &$@! yourself.

Thank you sslobalt I thought I had seen that before. I know it's my fault but I thought I had seen him say that once. It's worth a shot.

I'll take some pics today if I get the chance. I thought maybe it had blown a charge pipe off but doesn't look that way. I'm going to look in other spots to narrow it down. im still hopeful that i dont have a 400 dollar paperweight. I was leaving a gas station and it must have been in just the right spot because I've gone to this gas station before. I'm lowered on pedders.

Just checked it and I see nothing else wrong. Both my stock lower cp and zzp upper are in good shape.

Working off my phone so I can't do much for image size right now.

I'm also slammed with the ZZP full sized intercooler and haven't had any problems... I think you did this on purpose or just didn't care about avoiding what ever you hit.

It doesn't hold boost too bad. The ltft is -18-19 and stft is +18-20. I think it's a small leak.

Yes I did this on purpose. I was hoping I could take the bumper off my car again and throw away 400 bucks. If you don't have anything helpful to say then stay quiet please. I never asked for a free intercooler I asked if zzp offered discounts on a new one in this situation. You can't blame someone for trying to save some money. Ive spent plenty of money with zzp enough to know that I'm not trying to bash them. I like their products.

There's no way that's leaking. It's just a scratch. You might have a leak somewhere else, but it not that IC. See my sig and report back.

I knew I saved it, somewhere. I save everything I think will be important later. Looks like I was wrong about Matt saying it. It was actually Zoomer.

If your car is lowered, and you can't take an incline, well ****...quit driving.

My big ZZP hung below my bumper and lived it's life just fine on MI roads.

First of all, not new. Second it's not sarcasm because sarcasm would mean that you are implying the opposite of what is being said. Third in my second post I admitted it was my fault. More like 90% of the people on this site can't read or comprehend.
