or if things are way too clean.. water/meth has the tendency to keep things cleaner then they should be

I love how everybody assumes that you remove the parts and nobody will ever be able to tell it was on there.

I blew my engine within the first hundred miles of switching to Royal Purple. The piston almost looked like it got some sort of oil detonation going in between the rings. It blew a hole straight through the side, to the inner oil passage of the piston.

Thats wut happened to me, imy controller shorted out and i was running around for about 2 weeks waiting on a new one. Well i had gotten in to that boost range where i was tuned for meth a little too much and bye bye #4 ringland, lol. But i lucked out and my dealership fixed it under warranty(i also work for that dealer). While i was at it i asked about upgrading the pistons and they agreed. I obviously had to pay for them but gm payed for everything else.

see i would have, but i was already 1300 bucks labour into it, id have had to tow my car back home, find someone to help me do the work and a place to do it, in the end, it probably cost me almost as much, but ya id have a built motor, and no car for over a month im sure. if i didnt have to pay dealer the 1300 for taking apart my motor, id have done that. but to late now i guess. i need my car, ill have it next week apparently. i know with built motor id just wreck something else lol cause i always have to push it. id have 2 motors if id have gone that way, guess i could have fixed the old one and sold it.

ANyone wanna buy snow stage 2 meth kit???

no, only if i supply the motor, they wont give me warrently on it if i do i think, plus i dont have time to wait for it. id have to pick up the old one in peices, cause its completely taken apart, like every part. Figured F it, i really dont need a built motor, pretty much done with power mods. fwd car, usless to have alot of hp anyway, dont get traction as it is. ill stick with my tune and im good, if that.

yup, i got 15k on my buggy and car left, but i got more than enough in my savings to cover it, just gonna lay off spending money till i save it all back, should take a year or 2. honestly, i was more pissed off when a rock hit my window from a guy speeding by me. lol for some reason big things like this dont make me mad, just kinda numb for a while then its, whatever, getting mad wont solve nothing.

what i should have done is drove it down to zzp on my vacation time and said, have at er, but since it would cost me another 1300 to put it back together, screw it. if my original dealer would have just said, ur warrenty is void when they saw the kit the first time i brought it in, thats what id have done. for 8500, id have a beast.

Looks like he too the easy way out and blamed the meth, however if you would of never had meth perhaps they'd look into the oil that you were using, do an oil analysis and then void your warranty.

ya pretty much what i think, but they couldnt cause manual says if mobile one isnt availible u can use sustitute. then they would have blamed my intake and charge pipe. pretty sure they didnt wanna give me a motor cause i already had one on warrenty cause of porus block after 2k kms. i was using mobile one 5w30, all this crap started one month into using royal purple, that was over half year ago, i drained it right away, when i did research on it and found very bad reviews, and alot of them. but i guess damage was already done. i still think thats what caused it, and i will have a chat with their guys there. and if they still have the core, will look at it, i saw the cam, i had it open, they looked fine to me, didnt see any wear of no kind.
