Mounts to help with wheel spin?

Hey guys,

I was just doing a little reading up on the the Cobalt SS on Wikipedia for fun, and I noticed an interesting little passage...

A problem frequently encountered with the car, due to a combination of its high torque, front drive, and short first gear is wheel hop, wheelspin and a general lack of traction. Items like upgraded front and rear trans and motor mounts would eliminate this.

Now, this IS under the SUPERCHARGED section of the wiki, but I was wondering if this was an option for us LNF guys to help rid ourselves of that horrid wheelspin we get all the way into 3rd gear

Thanks for all input!

ottp rotated tranny mounts for wheel hop, and a nice set of sticky tires. example, i got the conti extreme summer dw, almost completely eleminated wheel spin in second gear, where as with stock tires i spun from 60-100kmh all the way threw second.

This might make me sound like a big fat newbie, but is ottp a brand or style of mounts?

Also tires sound phenomenal

Input is always appreciated on the forum but this is common knowledge.
Numerous companys make Trans and motor mounts
TTR
OTTP
ZZP
Powell

You will get posative reviews for all of the above...you can filter through any bad talk yourself Trans mounts are all you really need to change to reduce wheel hop.
Word of caution you will get an increase in Vibrations. ESPECIALY with the AC on. Mine feels like a big cam big block sometimes lol.

Ottp is a vender, click on his link under my last post Josh@ottp. Great mounts. and ya those tires surprise everyone who buys em. didnt expect that much traction, but they are awesome. and longer tread life than stock ftw.

I like my zzp mounts so far. Powell mounts seem to have a great reputation also.
I no longer get power hop with mine.

So before I go out and buy Mounts, is there any major differences between Powell, OTTP, and ZZP?
