Ok, really, you are running a 24 psi Trifecta tune and now the car smokes white...your gonna have to pay for this. And if you don't man up to that mistake you made, it shows alot about the kind of person you are when it comes to personal accountability.

Pay to Play. Stop jacking up the prices of new cars and making my dealer (figuratively) paranoid about the freakin' lack of a muffler or some other nonsensical bullshit, or make them so damn paranoid they send the calibration to GM for checking (oh yes, they will find the tune I promise you that.)

This is alot like dieselplace....everyone whines when they blow a head gasket or clog an egr up and pop the motor...but then they don't wanna man up to that aggressive tune as the obvious culprit.

Really? Are you sure 24 psi is not agressive because I think that's a bit much.

its about the max psi on these turbos and still being efficient.. couple of my friends have had infiniboost from trifecta and they boosted 28...but i never agreed with it, everyone of these cobalts respond differently to the same mods, and yes vince doesnt tune that aggressive compared to hp tunes..

OP..i am having similar issues with my car with white (maybe slightly slightly blue) smoke coming from the exhaust. it doesn't do it all the time but it does it when i am slowing down (coasting, downshifting, braking) and when i idle. I have the same mods as you cept an hks bov and an HP tune at 22psi. You seem to be getting a better response than my thread so i am going to join forces and sub up to this one for an ending result as well.

Update: For all those wondering it is the turbo seal on the exhaust side that is causing oil to be spitting into the exhaust. Im just glad its not my motor.

Good deal man. And it wasn't so much directed at you just more of a general statement.

Was there any special tests or steps to diagnose the turbo seal being gone? Glad you got it figured out. Did you notice any power loss in your car since all of this took place?

No they didn't tell me what they did but the first time the mechanic smelt the smoke he right away knew what it was. I never really felt a difference in how the car ran if it weren't for the smoke and all the random misfires at idle with the tune on I would have never noticed anything wrong.

Good luck anyway getting it fixed

Ive had a few warranty issues myself

Everyone that hasn't had to deal with bullshit warranty rejections will always preach the pay to play ****

Car completely stock other than a K&N Drop in, my Charge Pipe popped off and broke the connector on the High pressure fuel pump, i took it to the dealer i bought the car from with 1200 miles on the Odometer, they refused to fix it stating i must have broke it somehow installing my K&N drop in filter and tried to nail me for $1100 to fix it, took it to another dealer in town and they fixed it no problem. This was a real **** off and their is a TSB out for the 08 and 09s about this but apparently GMs little fix didnt correct the issue. I now run the ZZP Upper CP and use a bolt to hold it down

Blew my Trans with my mods doing a NLS into 3rd gear i knew they wouldnt warranty that but figured i would give it a shot anyway, refused and fixed it myself. This was totally my fault and took it like a man and fixed it

From now on i am taking the car in for any and every little issue that arises with full mods installed and they can prove to me that it was the case of the failure

My tranny also blew gm warrantied half of it somehow since I was pretty cool with the advisor. This was also back home. I bet if I was back home I could have gotten this warrantied also.

Going along with this issue...i also took my car to the dealer today because of smoking from the exhaust (oil kind) i had them down a leakdown test and this is how the results came back...

Cyl # Compression / Cyl. Leakage
1- 140psi / 1- 10%
2- 135psi / 2- 12%
3- 135psi / 3- 10%
4- 135psi / 4- 20%

According to the tech, all those are within spec? I personally dont know but 20% seems a little high on cyl. 4. Whats the dealio?

Could this also be a case of a turbo seal? open to any ideas/suggestions
