Hey Souperman, thanks for sharing that info! I got mine installed and I love the sound. I am pushing 22psi and I don't know if it's actually doing anything, but it's definately making the sound better.

didn't people have flutter or some kind of compressor surge with the upgraded spring? I thought i read something about that.

So this concerns me. I get like a dog bark type noise during shifting at low rpms but it could be my intake tube. It almost sounds like a diverter valve on a GTI.

I read on another forum that it happens on intakes so I shrugged it off

 

Souperman how long have you had your spring on?

 

I do NOT have and first hand experience with the spring so I'm just going off what I've read . Here is a thread where people were talking about it awhile back.

Had it on for almost 6k but idk haven't seen anything or heard any problems

 

Tomj77 has had his on for a couple of years and no problem. He gets surge during cold start but he said he got that stock too.

I think the reason why you guys aren't having problems is because you guys are fully bolted where as I'm still missing downpipe and charge pipes.

So it makes me wonder.
