Question Newb Questions: What is the purpose of CASE Relearn?

I'm trying to figure out the purpose of CASE relearn. Does it fix knock retard? Will it erase my tune? I don't know what it does. I was reading about bi-directional control on the Aeroforce Interceptors. CASE Relearn came across my mind. Appreciate for anyone's answer.

No, all it does is tell the computer where your pistons and valves are... Don't **** with it lol.

Because I got a 2.9-3.6 knock retard with my tune. Previously I never get hardly any knock. I don't know its from weather change or shitty fuel I put in from Citgo to cause that. I have 6509's step cold plugs and detected no misfires. My IAT temps were at 75-77F in a 80F tonight and still get little knock retard 2.9-3.6 when I accelerate. When I cruise my knock retard chills at 0, until I hit the gas. Any variations?

Would definitely want to see that tune... LNF's have a tendency to false knock and KR when fuel trims are off, but its usually only 1-2*.

If you don't want to have it looked at and possibly retuned, you might want to just try splashing a gallon or two of E85 in, it will throw off your fuel trims, but will help fight the KR

Could also be tip-in KR due to a not very smooth timing table. Does it go away or hold till you let off?

Edit: Have you been using this tune for a while? If yes, and you haven't seen this kr problem before, all my money is on the choice of fuel.

it goes away when I let off the gas. I'm assuming its crappy fuel. I'm gonna let my car run close to empty and throw Shell in it.
