Nls?

sorry i just was trying to figure out where to put my rpms for nls on my sti, so i was trying to figure out what rpms it is set at on the lnf does anyone know or pay attention?

should be set a little before your shift point so that it doesnt misfire when you shift while still bein able to maintain full boost

well we are talking about an sti here not cobalt so i dont think it will lag as much on the tach

so if i redline around 7 and maybe shift around 6500 to 6800 i should put it around 6000?...i guess my whole concern is i want it just right caust isnt that slipping the clutch if you have it too high?

you have a STi but are posting on a cobalt forum? any way. You dont want to NLS AT redline, it will fail. You want to NLS just before, the tach will lag a tad and so will your shift. So trail and error....do it a couple hundred rpm below redline.

agreed. I assumed the OP was asking where the ECU holds the RPM's at for the LNF when a NLS was performed, not where the driver should initiate the NLS.
