okay, so I have heard a NLS done properly will make a backfire popping sound, I get it in 1st to 2nd, but when I do it from other gears I get a BOV sound almost, not as loud, not sure how to really describe it...

what should I be hearing?

 

ur hearing a backfire so i was told, a fffffft sound right? just under the car about where the ebrake is? ya someone told me that was a backfire ment to keep the turbo spooled.

its normal...except this srt-4 has an exhaust so its a louder backfire

His car is making a blow off sound instead of a pop.

My car does it too, and honestly I don't know why so I stopped NLSing.

 

I get that sound too. Usually My car seems like it accelerates faster afterwards. Whenever I race my buddy's 330i he always gets the launch on me, but after I NLS I get that sound and my car shoots past his.
