no boost CEL on

Well i guess my car does have a problem after all, now the car will spike to 5psi and then fall off to 0 psi withing 5 seconds or so. Onstar said it was a code related to my air intake system but i will get it scanned at the local dealer tomorrow. I can't wait to get it fixed cause to be honest it's ran like **** since i picked it up with 15 miles on it and i've been disapointed with it compared to my old SC . Anyone else had any problems like this ...if so please share . The car has 632 miles on it and is completely stock, thanks.

I had the same thing happen right when i bought the car. Mine was a bad sensor. It can be a leak somewhere or even a crack somewhere in the piping

Yep , i doubt it's a lemon . Just one of those things. I'm kinda glad it finally threw a code so they will know whats going on.

The connector on the wastgate solenoid pulled apart and threw a p0243 . Must be the guy at the factory didn't lock the connector down and it's been loose this whole time ERRR. All is well for now . Thanks for all the reply's.

And I imagine you have much better performance now lol. Your car was in "limp" mode - it will initially boost to 5psi, then give you nothing!

Yes! much better . Your right it would spike to 5psi and then hold 0. I just noticed my antenna is falling off , had like 1 turn left then it would have been gone. It also has a rattle in the right front area that sounds like a loose endlink ERR . Someone at the factory musta had a bad day.

Geeze man, I feel bad for ya! All you have been having is problems since the start!

I know how ya feel though, when I bought my TC I think they forgot to properly seal the sunroof. It sounded like the damn thing was open when it was closed!

That's actually been a problem with cobalts for a while. I know of 3 different ppl that had to have there's taken in and re-sealed cuz it was just lifting up under high speeds (65+)

Thinking about the coupe now?
