Opinion on running C12

Whats everyones opinions on running VP C12 race fuel or other blends?

I would run c16. I think that is as high as VP reccomends for a forced induction motor "up to 17:1 compression"... Its 117 octane!!! BUT... C16 is a leaded fuel and will ruin your catalytic converter if you still have one on your downpipe... Not directed at you sheldon, as you have a catless dp, more for others that read this thread.

Leaded fuel contaminates the O2 sensors also and shortens their life.

Well even better would be V100 is 96 octane or MotorSport 109 is 101octane race fuel they are both unleaded made by VP fuels.

A lot of high octanes still have trace amounts of lead in them.

Trace amounts of lead in fuel happens. It's called leaded when they purposely add lead. It works great for older motors. Back in the day they designed motors to run with lead because it helped lubricate the valves.
