p2187 question

Ok so i installed a BNR2871 on my car and every now and then i get p2187 lean at idle dtc. did some searching and found that its most likely the hose that used to bolt to the factory turbo. being that there is no spot anymore on the BNR the hose is just dangling and probaly causing some sort of leak. now i went to my local parts store and found this:

you think this would work instead of getting a nipple welded?

I'd just do it the right way, find a small machine shop, they're typically very easy to work with and would likely squeeze it in the same day.

the line isn't going back into the intake manifold. i need it to go back into my dejon sri. i figured that this would work cuz all it is is unmetered air that needs to go back in the system so i can get rid of this lean code. i'm just going to try it. whats the worst? i gotta get a bung welded anyway?

Get a different intake, like a K&N. If the Dejon doesn't have the bung, it's ****. Hell, go back to the stock airbox. You've probably lost power with that Dejon crap.
