Okay, so straight up, I like to drive this car A LOT.
And when I am out driving, I like to be a little spirited at times... nothing major.. no LC launches, and maybe a few NLS on the highway, but I like to boost it, and I like to go a little above the speed limit with in reason.
My car is broken in, 2000 KM on it.

Now my question is am I paranoid?

After a drive I always worry and than I drive good for a few days, nothing crazy..

I have asked this before, but when I make a NLS, the sound I get is not a backfire but almost a squeal? like I said it sounds like a BOV, than again ths is from inside the car.

I know we have brake issues in the rear, I will be getting this looked at this week as my rears are squeaking already.

Now I have the LSD, so when I do drive lively I don't get alot of wheel hop actually none, so I am not scared about cracking my tranny etc..., on my old 2.4 It did, bad...

My other questions are, I get a little distracted or normal lazyt driving letting off the clutch to early, causing grind.. in the time I have had this car I have only done it a handful of times..
Should I be super worried about this all?


my final question is, am I being a paranoid SS/TC owner, seeing as this is my baby?

 

the grind... try not to do it so much... but i bet it happend more than u have done it with people test driving the cars lol or unloading and loading them up... ule be fine. the squeel i would say could possably be ur turbo spooling back up since u never lost boost ur just free spooling through the shift( idk just swinnging at this 1 here) ,,, i am an lsj( supercharged) so not so sure on this 1 i hope some 1 helps u soon.

to me it sounds like a blow off. It goes PSSSSHHHHH. inbetween shifts when I NLS. I only get a back fire when I shift between 1st and second gear under normal to light driving load. The noise it makes is a loud POP!

PSSSSHHHHH. and POP. are two different noises.

When our cars back fire, does it make alittle flame? It sounds like it should. its pretty loud.

 

I have figured out that if you shift prior to redline by like 400 rpm you will get the psssh noise. The closer you do it to redline you will hear the pop louder

Also how do you know if you crack your tranny? Like what will the car feel like?
