Pre-Tune Checklist
Well i plan on driving to PA on Sat to get tuned by BYT.
I just wanted to do a couple of preliminary things before hand, thought i'd run it pass the net First
1. Change the 4 clamps on the charge piping to intercooler connections, they are T-clamps they are the regular ol Screw clamps. T-clamps are everywhere else.
2. install the Treadstone Air Straightener in the Devil Dejon SRI.
3. uninstall the Defouler on the Bad mab Dp
4. and here the problem, Change the spark plugs. I wanted to get stock A/c Delcos but no auto store carries them around here. I just see autolites are they any good? Or should i just special order the the Ac and install them when the get here?
I taking off thursday to handle this and driving up Sat.
Thanks in Advance.

Let me know how it goes with the air straightener. I talked to nick today and he said he doesn't really recommend them. From his past experiences he said they seem to restrict air flow a bit. But good luck and enjoy your BYT tune. I love mine :-)
Stock ac delcos are the only way to go with the stock .035 gap...hope you have an aftermarket clutch and aftermarket intercooler. You will need the intercooler to raise the timing in the midrange to gain more power, and you need a new clutch because the torque will blow the hell outta the stock one...

The clutch is being ordered from Ky Either before the end of the month or in MAY, I have a friend who can do it in a day we did it on my cavalier twice... So im not to worried about blowing it up. I really want new tires before the clutch...im riding on winters.(came with the car)
Its good to have a very good mechanic friend... he pretty taught me everything i know and helps a ton... he is doing my friends Supra Build i'll post it up if you guys wanna see

Nick obviously did it wrong if he said it restricts flow. You don't put the straightner.right in fromt of the sensor. You put it a inch + away to straighten air out. Think of it like a wind stream bouncing off wall to wall and once it has somthing to sraighten it out it can be read easier.
