I prefer the term keg. At least in the quantities we're used to.

Let me know how the tune works out. The only thing I saw I might need to change is the Injector Offset Vs Volts. I thought of that after I changed it to what it is. That was a completely custom tune BTW, not a recycled tune. And you didn't tell me your mods, or I didn't remember them.
Yeah man i will let ya know for sure. oh hmm kind of figured it was custom lol, my mods are well, gm stg 2, DO meth, tranny mount inserts, ingalls torque damper, vibrant header and dp, magnaflow catback, LC1 wideband, Interceptor gauge, stg2 axles. have a cxracing Heat exchanger but havent installed it yet.

Welcome to the performance feel of a stock LS1.

Definitely not bad for a little ol' 2.0L...

It's 1/3rd the motor, and 100% the HP.

so yesterday I tuned the car with the hahn intercooler and upgraded charge pipes. all I can say is "Holy ****!"

the intercooler temperatures dropped 20* consisntently. max IAT2 temps were 114* and that was after serious abuse. most of the time IAT2 temps were cooler than IAT1 temps. the combination of that and charge pipes seemed to make the car pull harder and harder all the way to redline. I don't have dyno evidence to measure the difference.

this combo on the automatic tranny had tires screaming all the way through third gear!

hell dyno logs can show this. or changing the base of the dyno plot itself to read time. i dropped 1.5 seconds going to the tvs on my car.

logs are a cheaper way of doing this.

One of the cars at the dyno Saturday had an intake and exhaust. (not a Cobalt, of course)

All I know is that it was upgraded charge piping on a Sky / Solstice, but their charge piping sucks ass stock. There are ugly crush bends that totally reduce the diameter throughout the piping.

Our stock piping in the Cobalt is better - even taking into account the flat spot on top of the engine. It is wider, and the cross-section of the piping will have the same area as that of the round sections. Keep in mind this doesn't restrict flow the same as an intake, as the air is being pushed, not pulled through.

I'm still waiting for my replacement charge piping from the dealer. That flat spot over the top of the engine is held by a tiny plastic thing and it snapped off by itself.
