Random misfire codes?

Around 48,000 miles. Check engine light appeared about a week or two ago. Ran codes at autozone....cylinder 2, 3 I believe claiming to "misfire". I hear no misfire and car still runs like a champ. I read quite a few cobalts are doing this so what have you done to fix it? Just cleared the code?

I should add it doesn't register as a code either. Just clear it so it goes off the dashdaq screen, otherwise when I scan it it finds nothing, and ya I do have trifecta. I'd like to hybrid the tune with hp tuners but I'm to cheap to buy it

My car was doing it for a while in cyl 3. Dealer tried replacing the plug and ignition coil; no luck. They then replaced the injector under warranty and the code hasn't come back since.

Yea same here hp tuners are def much better and with the option of having two tunes its even better , unfortunetly were I am ottawa ontario dosent seem like many people are very good at this/ will stand behind there tunes as much as some do on this site! I dunno how it wouldn't register as a code tho? Seems odd its getting annoying tho I think I will start by changing the plugs

im pretty sure its just fake misfire. if i wouldnt have my dashdaq id never even see it. when i took my cat off and went catless dp, it hardly ever did it, recently put it back on and its been starting again. so off it comes again lol

I'm not sure when you were going to get a chance to do this, but hope that everything goes well and that the misfire code is resolved.
