re routed vac line from can

does anyone know how to tune for this? my buddy did it to his an stock it added an extra three pounds of boost. also spools up much quicker. i did it to mine but i am tuned so i don think it notices it

I assume he's talking about the vac tank. This has been gone over a couple of times and someone even provided some dyno data that showed an increase of a couple of horsepower. I'm not touching it, though. It was engineered like this for a reason by someone smarter than I, so it's staying. I think if someone got a big gain out of this, it's because there was a leak to begin with.
