Recently just bought hahn charge pipes

Hey, everyone. I was wondering if anyone here still has hahn charge pipes. I recently bought some for cheap from a guy in my area. The thing I've been reading is that they put a dent in your hood. Is there a way around this? For example, cutting the charge pipes a little to avoid this issue?

if u look at the hahn coupler the screw to tighten it i have under the pipe to clear the hood but if u can see the middle of my hood i already have a dent.

Yep, seems like an easy fix. Rotate the clamps downward for more clearance.

Whoa...I have the lower pipe also. Really, it feels like aluminum. Is there a way tell if or better yet, what type of metal it is?

Also, thank you Nfamous for quick response and needed info.

Put a magnet on it. Aluminum is not ferrous.

Yep, what everyone else said. Make sure those clamps are away from the hood, also make sure the larger pipe is fully seated in the elbow so it doesn't rub the hood on shifts.
