removing head lnf

Im in the process of removing the head to replace a valve... What is the easiest way of removing the exhaust manifold... The engine is still in the car

I've found the best method is to loosen the bolts

Ha really?! Arent they covered by an aluminum shield?

Lol I'm assuming there is a heat shield on the lnf, thats also held on by a few bolts

Ha damn nevermind... Alright any advice i removed timing chain head bolts intake manifold what would make the process easier... Its my first time on an lnf

Take the turbo off and leave the mani on, it should come out I think, get a buddy to help pull it.

No real tricks. It's pretty straight forward. Just a matter of getting **** out of the way.

Cam and chain holding tools make it easier

not thats its better, just dont have to take it off, you can take it off if it makes it easier... if anything it just give you something to lift from

Red face

bought my lnf ss a year ago and it had a engine swap before i bought it and the guys apparently didn't put it back together right. they i guess broke the studs with nuts and replaced them with bolts witch intern all loosened up so now i sound completely nasty driving down the road. i have to replace the turbo studs and also mani studs. how would i go about getting to them? would i have to drop the turbo?? any help is appreciative
