RIP LNF tranny
The failure is simple: third gear breaks. the teeth jam up down in the pocket by the bearing and splits open the case.

The case is broken by pieces of shrapnel
making the case stronger wont help
changing 2/3/4 for a close ratio set will really help. 3000 or so plus rebuild
or dropping to 4.45 cwp will help. 500 or so plus rebuild
anyone wants the cr gears let me know we can do a run. expensive but really wakes the trans up.
the case is not an issue.

So far you've contributed nothing to this thread, and all we've been hearing is some pointless posts and name calling from you. Do you have something to say with respect to the transmission failures that's of merit, backed by evidence, or don't you? It's a pretty simple question.

we will see. I put in an LSJ TOB on this. Figure that the LNF's have been failing too much lately. We will see if I am wrong/ never have failed an LSJ TOB though, gotta say...
