Running E85

Well today i found out there are actually gas stations around me with e85. I know i need to run a mixture 50/50 of 93 octane and e85 what if i ran 92octane and e85 will it still be the same cause there are no gas stations around me with 93 all they have is 91 and on base has 92. Also i know i need a tune and i have a trifecta now would i just tell them i need it updated to run e85

Best to get in contact with him yourself, and maybe he can add the e85 tune as a secondary tune when your not running e85.

Two card swipes, 5 gals each works fine for me. He will have to adjust your MAF freq table +14% to compensate as a starting point and relog.

91 - 93 pump gas with it is fine.

Dont put E85 in your car without a tune. If its 100% E85 you'll run 30% lean, if its 50% E85 you'll run 15% lean.

Whats the basis for mixing it 50/50 with gas again?

Tell Vince to start by multiplying the MAF freq by 1.15 across the board for the 1:1 mix. (E48 btw if your 93 is 10% E already)

it said a minimum of 70% and the reasoning for that is during the winter they back off to a 30/70 mix of regular gas and Ethanol to help the car's start during the winter.

also off topic i bet i could smoke you in some paintball :p
