shifting into 5th

is a no go...

lol its not working no more... only when i pull up the reverse lock will it go into 5th...

took it to the dealer. they said i have to wait till monday to get anything done.... its tuesday..

anyone else experience this? cuase im thinking of just taking it apart and seeing for myself.

I think it's just a cable adjustment. I had to adjust it when I installed my STS.

Search the forums there was a thread about this and someone had it fixed at the dealer with your exact same symptoms. I can't remember how far back it was though so you may need to review for a bit.

If nothing is broken then you should be able to adjust the left cable to get it to shift into 5th w/o pulling up the reverse lock. It most likely will only need to moved a very minimal amount

Yup, that was me.

Take it back to the dealer and you'll get everything fixed. It's the cable linkage not allowing it to go in unless you pull up on the reverse lockout.

Once I took it to the dealer, my car was fixed. I'll find that thread hold on a tick ...

yeah man my car has been doing that too but only when im goin about 140 and shifting in to 5th
