Should I get an oil catch can?

I really just want to know if I should get a catch can? Car is tuned by byt apparently and when the tune is on, it boost at 24 psi making 314 hp/ 324 tq when intercooler and piping wasn't installed.

Also, should I just get it since I plan on hitting 350-360 later down the road?

All answers are appreciated.

pretty interesting link, with some really good points. A catch can on the fresh air intake is a total waste of time and money though.

I kinda think that the discussion on here got a little more detailed and the mercedes benz link I supplied sure covers the issue of DI coking and rectification. Gone in 10 secs started that thread, a good one.

Recently, a month or so ago, Silvrred and now last weekend, Revolution , used an inexpensive air fed media blast tool with walnut shells ( recommended by most manufacturers, audi/m-b/bmw/toyota/vdub etc ) to clean the valves and did an excellent job for little money ( maybe 60 bux plus time and a new IM gasket)

it makes a lot of mess, you need to cover the engine pretty well. These two members really proved that with a little effort care and thought, a DIY solution is possible. Rather than replacing the cylinder head complete!

and of course to stop coking coming back, the issue of DI coking is well controlled by our PCV upgrade drain back oil seperator system.

Don't waste your money on a catch can. Get Powell's PCV upgrade system, I have no oil in my intake or charge piping because of his system.

my store had them in stock but in the back. Make sure to ask, because somebody that worked in the store was allergic!
I only used about 5-10 lbs or so MAX, and used 85psi on the gun.

Instead of catch cans etc. If you don't care about pollution controls, can you just bypass the whole PCV system and just vent to atmo? Wouldn't that keep the valves clean?
