Some new stuff

As some know I finally blew the motor a few weeks ago,

I have been talking with Matt M about getting a new motor. That will come in a couple weeks, so what goes along with a new stronger block? A new bigger turbo. Here are the turbo pics for now, I will use this thread to update the process as I go.

New turbo vs. old. You can see the difference in the new cea turbine wheels that are lightweight and provide better spool times.

133 mph puts him at 532 hp with a 2900lb car. Don't you love pencil-racing?

Yes it will. Pushing them to 35-38 psi the evo guys have made 700 on a 2.0 with them. I want a little more power but not to go to crazy as the tranny will now be the weak link again lol. Might have to send it to ZZP for an auto if the tranny breaks.

I really dont know. I am sure it was at or above 600 crank hp. I made over 500 at ZZP on 110, and this was making more power than that was.

Good **** happening from an unfortunate situation. The 6262 is a very capable turbo. My friend made 671whp on a 10:1 2.0 on his evo on 35 lbs

Fueling on the FSI is a system that has a way better market as they have the options of getting bigger DI injectors. Do you know what company tuned it? Unitronic, Eurodyne, APR, Revo?

Cmiller, sorry to hear about your engine bro. Hope you get some nice new sleeves. What brand? I actually got a text with the picture you posted in your 1st post. **** happens but we learn from it and rebuild.
