SS/SC opinions CAI

ok im stuck between these two CAI's and want to voice my opinion on each and want to hear out yalls opinion so i can conclude this debate with myself.

First CAI AEM short Ram
http://www.modernperformance.com/pro...oducts_id=1580

cost more than the other, but i like it because its really short and the air will not have to travel as far so in theory quicker spooling supercharger. (sry lack of terminology dont rlly know how else to put it).

Second. XTC Inter cooler style CAI
http://cobalt-addiction.com/products...unt_large3.jpg

this one is 50 bucks cheaper but from the looks of it i dont see anywere for the MAF so im guessing some modification will be required, and since it mounts at the front of the car, better colder air but more length for the air to travel. and the plastic shield can be removed for when its not raining.

so im stuck.

The AEM intake, does not bolt right up the the throttle body like you are thinking. It still uses 75% of the stock ait intake system.

Many choose the Injen intake as it has the best gains 16 HP on a stock cobalt per Injen!

We price match so PM us if you need this service.

a moderator will arrive shortly to move it, change your title and add "ss/sc" to it somewhere, it'll make it more noticeable to them so they can move it quickly.

Look at where the MAF sensor is stock, that little elbow is all it replaces... Get the Injen, it is a complete CAI from the SC to the wheel well

or the fujita, my best friend has that one with zero issues and it sounds awsome, the injen is basically the same as the fujita in terms of quality ect.

yea i didn't even know about the AEM intake of failure for the ss/sc till recently, but then again i don't own an ss/sc lol, can't expect me to know very much about them. What I do know is that AEM makes an extremely durable intake and when i say it can take a beating I MEAN IT lol i won't go into details but lets just say the filter got pwn'd but the piping survived without a dent. Anyways, the injen and fujita are your best bets for an ss/sc intake, as well look into the "RAW" intake sold by another vendor on this forum, alot of highly tuned ss/sc owners speak very highly of it.
