Stealership

okay, so I was happy as all hell with the work they did, replacing my headlights for moisture...

they said there was nothing they could do about my breaks.. meh fine for now..

downside..

15 extra KM on my car, and my RPD was played with...
20 Bucks says the ******* who checked my car bagged it, seeing as it was on the HP/TQ gauge on my rpd... so I gave the service manager ****... and the dealership manager ****, and got a free oil change/ first inspection out of it.. soo

guess it evens out!

Always tell the service writer, "no test drives without explicit approval of owner"

Then you get a hell of alot more when they do.

the fact is, you don't need to play with the RPD to do a test drive to check the brakes...

whats suspicious is he left it on the HP/TQ Gauge, to me that says he was giving er beans..

i leave my gps in the car, reset my max speed and distance, as well as the trip log so i can see exactly where the car is driven and how fast they went.

Good idea, I am going to start doing that.

If they are smart enough though they will just do the same.

take a picture of your mileage on your cell phone and show it to the service guy before you leave...i had to do that after i came back to pick mine up and it had a stain on the floor mat and a 8th of a tank of gas gone, showed them the picture they filled the car, detailed it and gave me a free oil change

True, Its a little gauge that tells me how retarded the person sitting in the car was or is...

wow that sucked, I got nothing...

seriously though, why not be smart and turn the RPD back to the original setting...?

I think they though because I am a 20 something young male that I don't take care or pay attention to little details on my car..

I am not a rich guy, and have many dream cars, but this one is my dream and I baby the **** out of it and take note of every little detail in and out!

First thing I noticed was bug splatter on a brand new headlight.. than everything else jumped out at me!
