Stock Exhaust VS. Muffler Delete
Ok im tied between the two i just bought my intake, charge pipes and my mpx 3 inch down pipe and i wanna know how does the stock exhaust flow? does it flow well? or would a muffler delte be worth doing i am tuning the car very soon?
I live in florida so im not worried about that its not illegal....
I would like to know performance wise is there in advantage to a muffler delete or is just an audible mod?

If you went with a hi flow DP, you are good. The stock catback flows well & our muffler is straight through anyway.
The MD and a 3" catback are sound mods, not performance gains.
The tune is the biggest gain of all over stock.

a cat back does nothing for power, only sound. An intercooler isnt really a huge power mod, the stock one isnt back actually, but the plastic end pieces...well it should be all metal. some people crack their plastic end pieces. The issue with IC's is that most people will pick the wrong size for their application. usually too big. Specially with a tiny ass k04 like ours.
muffler delete with catless is loud but sounds good, if I were you id just look for a catback. or a cheaper alternative and just get a new muffler put in. and its not that it wont give you ANY gains, just minimal for the amount of money they cost
I just got a muffler delete and it just sounds good! Considering the price of catbacks and the fact that it offers virtually no power gain this is a no brainer to me...
If you really want a new exhaust go turbo back w/o cats
If you just want sound (like me) go for muffler delete --> not too loud, badass enough

Catback with a stock dp = zero gains mainly an expensive sound mod
Catback with catless dp on stock turbo setup (as compared to stock catback with catless dp) = zero to MAYBE 1whp gain, but does really sound badass
yes I have compared the 2 on a dyno just in case someone wants to rush in with the "bullshit my car feels waayyyyy faster" line
