stock LNF dyno

just thought id through up my numbers from a recent dyno day. seeing some of the numbers on this site by stock cars and amazed of the shitty numbers there putting out.
i think the my numbers are resonable. the dyno was one of them new hub dynos, its supposed to be pretty damn accurate compared to rolling dynos.
here are the dyno numbers.

i plan on going with a trifecta tune some time next year.

How can u exceed the rated torque being stock? I ran on a dyno stock that was about 27% lower than normal and i got 205 hp and 215 torque.

I love Torque

Almost 280 torque at the wheel, that is mighty nice.

Yeah man sorry to bust your ***** but that torque is way out there I mean WAY out there

Your putting more torque down then GM said we put to the crank 260wtq to be exact, just sayin'

Find a more accurate dyno

the red line was the first run, the dark blue line was the last run. the numbers were getting better each run.

little dissapointed with the huge power loss after 5500rpm, but thats what you get from these tiny turbos.

From what I know hub dyno's are less accurate than rolling road dynos. In an overestimation way which would explain your 280WTQ.

My advice.. stick with this dyno.. if it's close to you... It maybe giving you higher numbers than you are getting but at least you have a base line....

because we all know that its impossible to put down more than what gm says.. (almost every single ss/sc)

Why do you say that?

Problem number 1 with a hub dyno. You take the wheels off. You're taking of rotating mass that is normally on there.

Problem number 2 with a hub dyno. There is no drum resistance. When you're driving on the road is there any resistance or is like revving the car with the clutch pushed in?

With hub dynos, this causes them to read higher which is what you found out. Its not more accurate. Its more glorified false numbers.

cobalt ss/sc was rated 205 hp at the crank and they dyno's at 215+. so im sure its possible and since these cars make more torque 280 stock isnt that impossible.

I have stock set up on my new car and the boost gauge consistenly hit 20LBs. What's up with your Max boost at 17lbs? Does anyone here know if stock cars reach 20lbs?

Get a custom tune specifically for your car. The pre made tunes are ok, but the custom ones are a lot better
