He bolded the part where you said "more lag". There is no lag with the M62....

It wouldnt be worth it at all to convert to the M62. Maybe a DI HTV1320 would be cool but that would cost more then just going to a GT3071R/3076R and putting down 400whp without breaking a sweat.

i would expect considerable amount of time to tune, but if you went tvs id expect to see better #s than the lsj with the same mods do to the vvt , direct injection , and better flowing head. but EXPECT TO PAY FOR IT

haha...well, not lag persay, but the K04 on the LNF sees peak torque (and more of it) at a lower RPM than the M62
bad wording on my part

again, the end point of this is that you will see a loss of performance, a loss of money in your wallet, and a loss of time that could have been spent elsewere, just for the whine

I don't know why someone would drop $22,000+ to MAKE an SS/SC...

...when they could just buy one for $12,000 and modify the **** out of it for less.

The 9-3 had a 2.0T engine but not quite the LSJ.......

A supercharged LNF would produce more typical suprcharged pwr (tq) from idle to about 3k and then run out of breath... Good idea but not for the enthusiast. A twin turbo would be interesting though? adding about another 60 crank hp...Hmmmm.

It may sound better SC but in the real world 80% of people that own a supercharged mustang cobra model years 2003-2004, are swapping over to turbos and the same goes for Superhcharged lightnings and moren' more turbos' are out weighing superchargers for power, reliability, fuel economy, more pwr to the driven wheels..... I could go on having had and met\know many guys that have made the switch from Sc to TC and will never go back, on many different kinds of cars from 4 bangers to big V-8's....

If you live your life from light to light and 0-60 then supercharging is the way to go but if you're about 0-60, light-light and beyond.. turbocharging is the only answer.... All depends on your personal preference...

As for me? I want the best of both worlds so I'll take a turbo over a SC any day!!! especially the new DI turbos like the LNF... It has the pwr of a supercharged 2.0 down low and a big displacement N\A motor up top spreadout all over the place....... I've driven both and worked on both over 20 years!! .......I'll take the DI turbo pls..... With cheese and lettuce...
