if your going to run this bov you would need to move the maf right befor the throttle body.....or throw the air back in to the intake after the maf......the only thing wrong with this bov its going to sound like it surging always......and some say it fu*k's up ballbearing turbos...(wears them out)but then again it hasn't been tested......

I'm confused even more. Synapse's BOV is a VTA BOV except if you purchase the anti-stall kit which will convert it to a bypass/recirc BOV. If that is wrong can someone explain what the anti-stall kit will do if u can run the BOV on its own to recirc?

the anti-stall kit put the air back into the intake system......which we need cuz of the maf unless you move the maf.......maf would have to be on the cold side pipe and bov would have to be on the hot side

as far as I know you can use any bov because it has been shown that you can vent to atmosphere on these cars, so tial would work, HKS, greddy, etc...
and why does it sound like its always surging??? as far as I have researched and seen it causes very little to no surge because it goes open upon vacum and stays open until you begin to loose vacum. in other words it is not releasing based on pressure but vacuum. and why move the maf. all you need to do is draw air in through the bov just past the maf and before the turbo. I am very close to having the pipes made the way I want by dejon and I will post a full how to with pics and videos.

the Anti-stall kit allows the BOV to run just like a normal VTA BOV and won't cause any MAF problems as normal VTA BOV supposedly would

when you purchase the Synchronic BOV, it already comes as a recirc BOV

I called Synapse and they said they are redesigning the anti-stall kit and it won't be coming out for another couple months. So now instead I'm getting the HKS SSQV

thanks I figured everyone on here would be able to compare it to theirs

I already have a complaint on the bov. The O-ring they use got shaved by the bov when I installed it.

I think it may be a standard O-ring I may buy another before I install.

Jn2 I know you have your reasons for wanting a dsm t-25 turbo but have you seen the big t-28, it has an upgraded compressor wheel and supposed to have the same spool as the t-25.

yes i got the t25, and i have already spoken to gpop shop about upgrading it to a big t28 for a cheaper total than buying a t28 itself, and i have time to wait, once im boosted and i get a new clutch in ill upgrade the turbo to the big t28

sounds good jn2 I hear the t-28 is a 360hp turbo I almost got one on my 2g dsm but went with the big evo 3 16g instead because it was cheaper. I wish I had gone with the t-28 though.

you made the right choice in my opinion on the t-25, just when you want more power and you will the t-28 will be great because its spool is the same but has a much higher top end. The t-25 i think is a 260hp turbo I think I may be wrong. Do you have your system working and tunned already?

Newest update.
I got the rest of the hot side.
I will be installing it tomorow after work and will post pics and try to upload a vid to you tube.

I had them weld a boost nipple to the elbow so I could get a pre bypass valve boost source.
