Ahh, this is more what I saw (except the getting beyond 45-50 part), as the only G35 I raced was um...in the city, with a little traffic, in a 45, from a surprise start.

He definitely had something on me on the low-end, and we never got up beyond 50 or so to test out the high end.

Then again, he may have been modded, or I might be a **** driver.

from what i read about the 350z/g35, they really dont respond at all to bolt ons.....exhaust,intake. i drove a g35 coupe with an intake and it was quick but from a roll i think the ss can edge it out.

i walked a 350z (same engine) with just an intake. g35s are heavier than 350z. and im supercharged, if your turbo, youll beat him. even if ur supercharged. on a fair note, however, unless you can perform a really good launch, try racing from a 20 roll

 

mt friend will take me in first, but soon as i hit boost in second hes seeing tails. He refuses to race me anymore. just go race your friend and he will stfu.

No.I stick with him.He will put about a fender on me as I spin then I grab 2nd and i destroy him and pop a flame at him just to **** him off

I know a guy here locally who edged a G35. Its all about the driver more than the car.

i re-reced my buddys 350z over the weekend, from 20, 30 and 40. (40 roll we didn't wind up having much room) and he seemed to have the edge on me just from the getgo, probably more torque. but each time i was right at his fender bout to catch up... we gotta try from a dig soon.

then i realized i was a quart low on oil and my tires were underinflated...

 

I think you should win. I never lost to 350z's when I was stock...maybe it has something to do with the high altitude though.

 

Have you guys forgot about the vq35hr? If its one of those itll take a stock. Ss/tc easily. Especially with nods since the HR motors make big gains with bolt ons
