It is very tough to tell the difference. There is a piece of ~3.00" ID pipe welded very neatly into the 3.25" OD intake pipe right at the MAF. It took me a while to see the difference in person. Unless someone has a really awsome camera (not me) it will be hard to tell. I do not remember if they changed the PN or not.

Look inside where the MAF connects to

There should be a sleeve that's inside that's all it is

mine is 3 1/8" ID at the MAF end and there is not anything welded in it. OD is about 3 3/16"

It is the older version if there is nothing welded in right at the MAF.

im assuming that they do use the same PN. i couldnt find anything to differentiate the two when i searched before buying it. Hopefully name dropping will help lol

I put my revised one on a few weeks back and it dosnt surge when it is cold anymore and runs much smoother now. It looks like they changed the shape of the tube right after the sensor. Not much of a difference but runs much better.

lol, thats deff not a split, thats just the 1/16" flat edge of the tube. it also measures larger than 3" ID
