Thermostat

Has anyone change their thermostat? If so what themp they change to

i have not but i remember reading somewhere in an old thread to NOT change it to a colder temp themostat. Something about our cars need to run hot.

The LNF has a 180* thermostat according to the Service Manual.

I knew it was a 180. Just curious if anyone has put in a cool one.

To me, 180*f is a cool one, in the 70's & later every thing was 195*f . I'z old.

In the ancient times they used 160* stats with alcohol antifreeze.
