Those with ported heads

how much porting was needed? My local machine shop quoted me 65 an hour for porting, and they wanted to know how much I wanted removed. i have no idea what to tell them. Any help is good help thanks,

No point in going any further than gasket matching and flow matching. If your gonna do it, probably a good idea to gasket match the intake as well though for me that is saying this sight unseen. I gasket matched the heads on my Ram, did the kegger mod to the intake and it really does make an incredible difference, though with a turbocharged car, I just don't have the experience to tell you how far to take it.

Ya just get gasket matching and flow matching. I have done a few heads and I have done 2 heads for a turbos car my old one and my buddys both where great mods I would say around 30hp gain and the turbo is quicker spooling and has higher RPM

Be careful, most shops don't have experience with DI heads and not many have really done anything that worked in the LNF market. A few that didn't work out tho...

Hey Zoomer, any chance you guys will be releasing you ported head for the LNF soon? maybe with upgraded valve springs?
