Are you running a Forge BPV? When it needs servicing it'll do that.

No I just put the stock bpv back in when removing the bov. And servicing? Something I can do? The dealers in my area don't know anything about these cars. When I first took my car in after I bought it, they were accusing me of putting aftermarket brakes (brembos) on which voided my warranty. Lol.

Check vac lines for leaks then if none found try bypassing the vac tank. If it gets better it means the check valve is going bad in the vac tank.

I know I am probably beating a dead horse, but why not lol?

Right now I have the Hahn CAI. It works great, but after reading this thread it has me thinking.

I am torn between Keeping my Hahn or going with the treadstone CAI.

I am fully bolted and have the GMS1 ( I am waiting till my warranty runs out to get a tune and a ZFR )

Basically will the Treadstone Honeycomb CAI give me more accurate / consistent MAF readings and therefor make drivability better? Or, am I just over thinking this and stick with my Hahn CAI?

Does anyone actually have experience with the two? I am looking for improved MAF readings ( drivability ) over my Hahn.

I'm very indecisive. But I'm just looking for thoughts, issues, and power gains(tuned and untuned)

K&N SRI is the way to go. I don't think ZZP sells it though. Go to Modern Performance or eBay for it.

I have GMS1 installed and installed the Hahn CAI and I had issues with going into limp mode. I also got the code P0101 MAF sensor. How long have you been running with the Hahn CAI and GMS1 tune? Do you have any suggestions. I'm not sure why I was having these problems. I looked over the install 100 times before I just decided to put the stock intake back on and after that no problems.

I want to have the intake installed and get the selectable Trifecta tune, but I have to get this figured out before I get Trifecta tuned.

The hahn is known to have this issue. You will need a tune to correct the issue. Maybe contact Trifecta first to see if they can tune out the issues. I'm sure he can.

Ebay is cheaper. Make sure you go with reputable seller (like Jeggs official in the link below) and pay with paypal (for refund purposes) and you'll be fine.

Amazon:

My Hahn CAI went to **** so I ordered the K&N. Got it installed earlier today but now the car is running very rough and actually died twice. My MAF is dirty due to it falling into some mud but I cleaned it up best I could. Might just go buy a new MAF and see how that works.

What position do you have your filter at? That could be part of the reason too.
