If they don't, chances are you'll be in a world of hurt.

greater than 160 charactors

The question on why McLaren finalized the 2013 McLaren road car
with Michelin super sport tires as O. E. M. ....
--is not that the Pilot SS tires are pretty, wide or lightweight...

The Pilot ss exceded every data set point/ parameter /requirement that
McLaren ENGINERRED [dynamically tested] into their chassis.

which are real world McLaren Targets, not pie-in-the-sky dreaming...
*********
Another way to rationalize the $220 us/per tire (america's tire) for a SS-T/c:

Tires are W A Y cheaper/easier 2 replace
than body/chassis (+ broken bone injuries !)
damage repair from Unexpected Shunts!!

Yes, I will take the $1950 helmet over the $22 pepboys helmet, Please.

Conti SC 3's are fantastic, a little on the pricey side, but I love mine...
Great traction (Be it I am only running GMS1 soon to be Trifecta Budget)

Just ordered 2 brand new ones to replace 2 damaged in an accident..
I don't think i'll ever switch!

Has anyone tried the Nitto Motivo?

Tire Details - Discount Tire Direct

I think these are fairly new and they say that they are using a new compound that is supposed to give ultra high performance charachteristics with a 60,000 mi warrany and low noise. No reviews on the site though.

I just put on some General G-Max AS-03 s on. Made by Continetal. Last winter was a bitch being lowered and having my nittos. Went with an UHP all season. So far pretty impressed. Grip is down only very slightly compared to the nittos I had on. Real test will be come decEmber. Also 116$ a tire for a 235 is hard to beat. Reviews are good across the board for them also. Spring time I'm looking to get star specs or so-4s.

Okay so I just switched from my Nokian AS back to my Conti SC3's...
And I remember why I bought em, amazing wet weather traction and handling, and amazing traction and grip on dry pavement. Only break em loose slightly on Trifecta budget where my AS's were spinning like crazy!
